Proline-EZ Tank RO
Maintenance Guide

Your under-sink RO system removes up to 99% of dissolved contaminants — including lead, arsenic, fluoride, nitrates, and chlorine — producing ultra-pure drinking water. Filter replacement every 6–12 months keeps it performing at its best.

Maintenance Schedule

TaskFrequency
Stage 1 Sediment pre-filter (5 micron)
Removes sediment and particulates that would otherwise clog the membrane.
Every 6–12 Months
Stage 2 Carbon block pre-filter
Removes chlorine and chloramines that would damage the RO membrane.
Every 6–12 Months
Stage 3 Carbon block pre-filter (if 5-stage)
Second carbon stage for additional chloramine reduction. Not present on all systems.
Every 6–12 Months
Membrane RO membrane
The heart of the system. Replace if TDS creeps up or water production slows significantly. Well-maintained membranes last longer.
Every 2–3 Years
Post Polishing carbon filter (last stage)
Removes any residual taste before water reaches the faucet. Replace at same time as pre-filters.
Every 6–12 Months
Sanitize system & storage tank
Flush the system with a food-safe sanitizer solution. Usually done at the same time as membrane replacement.
Annually
Check storage tank pressure
The tank should have 6–8 PSI of air pressure (check when empty). Low pressure causes slow water production.

Filters & Supplies

ProLine 5-stage replacement filter kit: sediment filter, two carbon blocks, RO membrane, and inline post-carbon filter
ProLine 5-Stage Replacement Filter Kit
Everything your system needs in one package, so you're not tracking down four different cartridges from four different part numbers. Three options depending on what's actually due:
  • Complete Kit with Membrane — the full refresh, filters and membrane together
  • Filter Kit Only — routine filter change when your membrane is still performing fine
  • Membrane Only — when flow has slowed but the filters are still good

Check your stage count before you order. This kit fits the Proline-550EZ and the ProLine Plus 5-Stage. It does not fit the Proline-450EZ or any 4-stage system, which uses a different kit. The quick way to tell them apart: a 5-stage system has two grey carbon blocks in the housings, a 4-stage has only one. If you're not sure, send us a photo of your unit and we'll confirm which kit you need before you spend money on the wrong one.
